　　自然的新绿是金，　　Nature's first green is gold，
　　鲜美色彩难保存。　　Her hardest hue to hold.
　　初发叶芽即是花；　　Her early leaf's a flower；
　　仅能持续一刹那。　　But only an hour.
　　遂而新芽长成叶。　　Then leaf subsides to leaf.
　　伊甸顿然陷悲切，　　So Eden sank to grief，
　　曙晓瞬已大白天。　　So dawn goes down to day.
　　黄金之物不久全。　　Nothing gold can stay.
