火与冰 Fire and Ice
有人说世界将毁于烈焰， Some say the world will end in fire，
有人说冰封。 Some say in ice.
如以我对欲望的体验 From what I've tasted of desire
我赞同烈火的高言。 I hold with those who favor fire.
如果欲望连番落空， But if it had to perish twice，
我知道愤恨已足可以 I think I know enough of hate
至于破坏力，而冰 To say that for destruction ice
绰绰有余 Is also great
或可以冰封。 And would suffice.
