　　Secondly, the most important thing about being a Christian has changed.
Most people believe that Christ is still important, but only a few people
possess a biblical world view(Kinnaman76). It seems people have taken
“knowing about God ” than “knowing God ” (Neff 138). It ’s a thing
from heart to mouth. As many as 96% of Americans believe in God, 85% Americans
identify themselves as Christians (Twitchell 22), but among the “emerging
adult ” (Beauty 36) only 30% people are“Selective Adherents,”and that
means people who“ have … solid religious upbringings but are more discriminating
than committed traditionalists about what they are willing to adopt of
tradition ’s beliefs ” (Beaty 36). These Americans are those who are
against sex before marriage and abortion; who believe in hell and who
have a repulsive emotion toward alcohol and drug abuse. But is it something
that only Christians would do? Absolutely no. These are the traditions
but not religion. I was raised up in China, people in China —mostly irreligious
—believe firmly in the same thing. Tradition and religion are different.
But people mix it up now. “In this culture, religion is all about being
good…” (Galli 47). People ’s relationship with God is diminishing,
the Supreme Court banned school prayer and permitted abortion, and so
did practicing Christianity in public schools. As many as 84% of the outsiders
know a Christian personally, but only 15% see life-style differences (kinnaman
41).

　　Thirdly, people who are real Christians are isolated from the society.
The world gives us the illusion that Christianity is everywhere. From
TV to radio, from T-shirts to cross necklaces on a Gucci’s model ’s
long and elegant neck. But the real evangelicals are isolated from society.
I come to a private Christian school, and found out that compared to public
school kids; kids in Christian school appear to keep themselves only to
this school. In other words, the school is their world. It is a common
sense to public school kids that Christian school kids are more likely
to be “Jesus freaks. ” Christians are more likely to live in their own
world. One fourth people describe Christians are using special words and
phrases no one else can understand. One half people (outsiders) say that
Christians seems like a club only certain people can join (Kinnaman 123).Outsider
says: “‘Christianity has become bloated with blind followers who would
rather repeat slogans than actually feel true compassion and care ’”
(Kinnaman 15). For the isolated position of the Christians, Christians
do not like to having much contact with outside world .85% of young outsiders
think present day Christianity is hypocritical. “Christians say one thing
but live something entirely different ” (Kinnaman 41). This is because
